Hey,
It is SO important to keep your receipts when you go shopping and I'm going to share a story with you about what happened to me today. Don't worry, it's got a good ending :).
When I went to Melbourne last year in September, I bought two bags from Myer. One was by Wayne Cooper and the other one (below) was a black satchel bag by Ooh La La.
I actually really liked the bag because it was cute and convenient with both a short and long strap so I could either hang it on my elbow or carry it like a satchel. Sadly, after about 5 days of carrying the bag, the stitching on the satchel strap came off! I didn't have anything particularly heavy in the bag either. It was just the standard stuff like wallet, phone, bottle of water, lipstick, lipgloss, tissues, face powder etc but nothing extremely heavy. Thank goodness I kept the receipt!

Semi-Productive Day
Dear Diary,
Today turned out to be only a semi-productive day. I actually stayed home today which is rare because I'm usually always out with my bf on weekends but my cousins came over today so I stayed home.
I actually wrote down a "to do" list which I had intended to complete but totally failed >.<
My "to do" list was:
1. wash clothes - tick
2. reorganise and tidy up skincare products shelf - semi done
3. tidy up bags and change bags for the week - not done
4. record videos - not done
5. put Hello Kitty wall art on the wall - tick
6. wash Sigma brushes - not done
7. create Photobook - tick
So I did manage to do 3.5 of the things on my list which is 50%. That's a pass right? hehe and here's my Hello Kitty wall art. It's so cute and definitely makes my wall not so dull.
I'm hoping I can finish the list tomorrow after work but we'll see....goodnight for now ^_^
xoxo

Nail Tutorial - Midnight Stars
Hey ^_^
I like simple nail designs when I paint my own nails because they're quick and easy to do. So today I've created a really simple nail tutorial and I've named it Midnight Stars. It's basically black with the tip of your nails being a silver glittery colour. Kind of like a strip of stars against a black sky. The silver also softens the black so that it doesn't look so emo.
Watch it here on YouTube:
Or read below for instructions:
Items used:
Rimmel 60 Seconds nail polish in 800 Black Out
Chi Chi Salon Finish nail polish in Disco Diva
Maybelline Express Finish top/base coat
Manicare French Tip Tapes (optional)
Instructions:
Step 1 - Paint a clear base coat to protect your nails
Step 2 - Paint a coat of black nail polish on your nails
Step 3 (optional) - Place the french tip tapes on each nail and pinch in on the sides. You can make your nail tip as small or as big as you like.
Step 4 - Paint your nail tips with the silver glitter nail polish. (I used the tip tapes on one hand but I didn't really like the result so I just went freestyle on the other hand and it turned out fine)
Step 5 - Paint a clear top coat on for shine and longer lasting nail colour.
I hope you guys enjoyed this nail tutorial and it's nothing fancy as it's my first one but I'd like to do more in the future. Don't forget you guys can send me requests for videos, products you'd like me to review or even articles you'd like me to write.
At the moment I have a section on my YouTube channel where I'm taking suggestions from my viewers/readers on what concealer you would like me to try or review because my Maybelline concealer is running out and I'd like to get a new one.
Anyway goodnight for now ^_^

Sigma brushes finally arrived!!!
Hey you!
So I came back home today from my weekend getaway and I think I've got the holiday blues because I have to go back to work tomorrow :( Wish we could just be on holidays all the time hehe
Anyway while I was away, I filmed the outfits I wore which were just everyday casual outfits and also the beauty items I took with me so hope the video turned out ok and I'll be editing that soon so hopefully it'll be up by tonight.
You guys know from my previous blog post that I wanted to take my Sigma brushes with me on the weekend getaway but unfortunately they didn't arrive in time but my sister texted me today that they finally arrived so I was super excited to come home and open it! I'll be recording a review/impression of them sometime this week but here's a quick pic ^_^
So the brushes in the top left brush holder is the Mrs. Bunny Essential Kit which you can see here and the brushes in the top right brush holder is the Synthetic Kabuki Kit which you can view here.
I also received a free gift because my purchase was over $30 and you don't need a code or anything to get it.
If anyone wants to get some brushes too, click here and use this January discount code 0112XJML to get a 10% discount on your purchase plus a free gift if you spend $30 or more.
I've also got the Sigma Brushes banner on the right hand column of my blog and i'll keep updating the discount code every month for you guys ^_^
Now I gotta go edit my videos. See you soon ^_^

Lookbook: NYE Outfit for less than $120
Hi ^_^
Happy new year everyone and I hope you guys had an awesome NYE because I did!
It's so wierd saying 2012 so definitely need to get used to that and this is my first Lookbook post for 2012. I know I haven't posted anything in my Lookbook section since I wrote the post that I was going to...and I meant for it to be a big part of my blog so I promise I'll spend more time on it this year (even wierder saying "this year").
Ok so I wanted to show you guys what I wore for new year's eve yesterday and the look isn't so glamorous that you can't wear it for other occasions.
